The event is currently on Yellow Alert, meaning organizers are monitoring conditions closely. Due to inconsistent surf, the Classic will not run January 31–February 1. The next official call will be made on Wednesday, February 4 at 5:00 PM.

The goal remains clear: run the event only when Rincon is at its absolute best.
