Here’s “What’s Happening” in Santa Barbara this Fourth of July!

The annual 4th of July Village Parade in Montecito starts at 11:30 am in Manning Park. There will be plenty of Food and Music! The Parade is a celebration of community and patriotism.  At 7:30 am there is a “Pancake Breakfast” at the San Ysidro Firehouse (805.969.2026).

At noon festivities will begin at the Santa Barbara waterfront and Sterns Wharf. Festivities include Food Vendors and a music variety show featuring local musicians hosted by John Palminteri.  The Fireworks show begins at 9 pm!

Also at noon will be the Third Annual “These Colors Don’t Run” event at the Veteran’s Memorial Building that benefits Santa Barbara, volunteer-run veteran groups. The event will feature “live” music, an art show, a silent auction, and a pinup show. For more information visit their website at These Colors Don’t Run

At 1 pm the Annual Spirit of 76 Parade begins at Micheltorena Street and proceeds down State Street to Old Town Santa Barbara concluding at Cota Street. Visit Spirit of 76 for more information.,

At 4 pm enjoy live music “and fun” on Sterns Wharf provided by the Merchants Association. At 9m the Fireworks show begins.

At 5 pm is the free annual 4th of July concert at the Santa Barbara Courthouse Sunken Garden.  The Sunken Garden Concert will feature a one-hour show performed by the West Coast Symphony Orchestra.
