The Funk Zone

Santa Barbara’s “Funk Zone” is a multi-block neighborhood nestled into a section of downtown Santa Barbara situated between E. Cabrillo Blvd., lower State Street, and E. Montecito Street (I’m sure this is debatable). Historically the Funk Zone had catered to the local art, wine, & surf communities and yet the Funk Zone of today is an artful blend of old and new. There’s still a lot of funk, heart, and soul but it’s a little more upscale (as you’ll see) these days. Remember, the Funk Zone loves you! Peace!
