Oprah Winfrey purchased the Seamair Farm at 380 Santa Rosa Lane in Montecito on February 5, 2016, reported the Santa Barbara News-Press on February 14, 2016. The Spencer T. Olin Trust conducted an Auction of the 23-acre farm on November 18, 2015. “As one of the potential buyers, Oprah carefully researched the positioning of the Seamair Farm and paid several personal visits to make sure it would meet the promises the positioning highlighted.
