Santa Barbara’s own Foo Fighter, Chris Shiflett, was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the group this year!

       Recently, Santa Barbara’s weekly rag the Independent featured Chris on their cover and the week’s cover story was written by Marko DeSantis a longtime friend.  They both grew up in Santa Barbara, and at one time, were in competing Punk bands.  The WASPs and the KITTENZ!  Eventually, they merged into the same band and that’s where this story begins. It’s a lot of fun and a good read.
